Lubrication Fundamentals Modules
- Industrial Lubrication Fundamentals (AKA ILF, type NON-ISO): This course is tailored for beginners who know nothing about lubrication, great for students and undergrads. Also sold for technicians. Available in both public and private forms.
- Machinery Lubrication Fundamentals
- How Lubrication Affects Machine Reliability
- Lubrication Fundamentals
- Lubricant Performance Properties
- Lubricating Grease Application Methods
- Gear Lubricants
- Contamination Control
Lubrication ICML Certified Modules
- Machinery Lubrication Level 2: AKA ML2 or MLT2 is a course certified by the ICML aimed for Maintenance managers. Although it is a non-ISO course it is a very difficult certificate with rich technical content. The purpose of this certificate is to enable maintenance managers to plan and execute a reliable lubrication maintenance program. Note: Since the ISO18436 covers the training topics for CM skills, MLT1 and MLTII are not covered in this specific ISO.
Lubrication ISO Certified Modules
- Machinery Lubrication Level 1 (AKA ML1 type ISO course qualifies you for the ICML MLAI ISO18436 exam, or MLT1 from ICML only)
- Machinery Lubrication I (MLI) provides the basic skillset for applying best lubrication practices and product knowledge. Through MLI, participants can move away from the “old school” methods of vague, non-specific lubrication procedures and implement an excellent lubrication program in any industrial workplace.
- MLI students gain much more than pointers on lubricating a machine – they learn proven industry methods for selecting, storing, filtering and testing lubricants to boost reliability and generate lasting results in machine efficiency/maintenance. They also gain better understanding of oil analysis, so they can align their efforts with those of maintenance professionals or oil analysis experts.
- This is a complete course and the main pillar that covers everything you need. It covers all the basics, from lubrication theory and types, calcification of Lubes types to the basics of grease. All the basics and different strategies of maintenance. All the life cycle of the lubricant. The storage and handling of lubes and main design aspects.
- Oil Analysis Level 2 Maintenance professionals in Oil Analysis II will gain the knowledge they need to properly sample, monitor and detect additive, thermal and particle factors that degrade lubricants via on-site tests and lab analysis. They will review case studies, read and interpret oil analysis reports and participate in group problem-solving exercises. This is the second level of oil and lubrication analysis, where you learn more about the fine contamination control and all about setting the rule and optimum reference state and how to monitor the lubricant health from top to bottom. This Level Covers:
- Lubrication PM Optimization and Design
- Troubleshooting Lubrication Problems
- Lubrication and Oil Analysis Metrics
- Accessorizing New Equipment for Lubrication Excellence
- Oil Drains, Flushing and Reservoir Management
- Lubricating Grease Application
- Lubricant Application
- Lubrication Fundamentals
- Base Oils
- Viscosity and Viscosity Index
- Oxidation and Thermal Stability
- Air Release and Foam Control
- Lubricant Degradation
- Leakage Stability
- Lubricant Selection and Consolidation
- Oil Analysis Level 3 If you wish to become an expert in your company and lead a comprehensive, in-house analysis program – Oil Analysis III is the training you need to make this a reality. Oil Analysis III is designed to give managers and reliability professionals the right know-how to develop and implement a strong oil analysis program for their workplace or company. In addition to learning the right metrics for program implementation and evaluation, the OA III student will study the most advanced levels of diagnostics and predictive maintenance to ensure program success. This level provides the knowledge of complete trilogy and deeply touches every aspect of lubrication and tribology.
